Introduction of Casemix funding in South Australia – Department of Health and Ageing (Australian Government)

Evaluated the implementation of casemix funding in South Australian public hospitals in terms of impact of casemix the casemix funding approach on quality of care; access to acute public hospital services; and costs.

Rural and remote health financing arrangements – Department of Health and Ageing (Australian Government)

In association with the National Rural Health Alliance reviewed health financing arrangements for rural and remote Australia which informed the $400m Rural Health Budget (2000-2004).

Indigenous economic and social policy research program – Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (Australian Government)

Evaluated a university based Indigenous social policy research program to assess appropriateness, effectiveness quality and areas for improvement of the three year research program.
